The Trylle Series is about a girl called Wendy Everly and since she was born her mother sensed she was not her child and was convinced she was a monster. On her 6th birthday she tried to kill Wendy but her brother stopped her mother and saved her. Wendy has always known she did not fit in but never knew where she would. When a mysterious boy called Finn comes to her window at night, he comes with an explanation for Wendy's life and she can only go to see the truth. In this new place of trolls, as Wendy is herself, she learns that they need her more than she realizes. I think this is a great series and it is one on those books you have to force yourself to put down. It is most suited for girls and has romance, fighting and mystery.
