The Key to the Golden Firebird is a great book about a family getting torn apart but despite their differences work together and reunite their family. The book is mainly based around May the middle sister who is responsible. The older sister Brooks is unpredictable and like her younger sister is a great softball player, then Palmer is young and determined. It could do with a better ending or to have a sequel to the book because it felt as though the book was still in the making. It was the type of book that made you want to stay up all night reading and then make you wish the book kept going once you finished reading it!
